About
Michelle is a Staff Software Engineer at dbt Labs, primarily working on the open source dbt Core product. Prior to joining dbt Labs, she worked on Shopify’s Data Platform team, leading the development of a dbt-based modelling framework for creating production-grade data models written in SQL. Michelle is based in Toronto, Canada, and spends the snowy winters alpine ski racing, reading manga, and more recently learning to play Magic: The Gathering!
