About
Lauren Benezra is a Senior Analytics Engineer at dbt Labs, and a full-time cat lady. Before discovering analytics engineering, she earned a Master's in Applied Math, modeling biological systems and cat population dynamics. Later, she became an automation engineer, building all-things-code for data systems and laboratory robotics in the biotech world; that's where she discovered her love of organizing the unorganized, and the world of dbt. Beyond her day job, Lauren volunteers for a Bay Area cat rescue, throws around kettlebells, and spends time with her own four cats in Portland, Oregon.
