Jeremy joined dbt Labs in January 2018 as the second* junior data analyst (it was a tie). He felt firsthand the power of using dbt to rapidly stand up analytics projects, refactor legacy code, and replace outmoded infrastructure. It was a trip.
In those days, "enterprise" meant consulting for startups with a few hundred employees. Now, dbt is relied on by data teams at some the largest & most complex organizations. As dbt Labs transitioned into its current incarnation, Jeremy also transitioned from a client-facing Analytics Engineer to a community-facing Product Manager, maintaining dbt Core and charting the course for its future.
He is immensely grateful to work alongside many patient, prescient colleagues, and so many generous, thoughtful members of the dbt open source community.
